As those of you who read the write-from-home.com ezine know, I try post a few paying markets and writing contests each month. The busier I get, the less time I have to dedicate to finding markets and contests to post. For a few months, I’ve been toying around with the idea of hiring someone to help me out.
I’m happy to announce that freelance writer Jodee Redmond will be taking on the role of researching and collecting paying markets and writing contests for the December edition. Some of you may know Jodee from Deb Ng’s Freelance Writing Jobs blog as the Goddess of Collecting Job Leads (this may not be her official title, but I think it should be).
I hope you’ll all enjoy the bigger and better list of writing markets and contests Jodee will be putting together for us. I know I will immensely enjoy having her help. THANK YOU JODEE!!

It’ll actually probably just buy me a better night’s sleep, as I’ve been staying up till around 3am doing this the past few months.
Well, you certainly deserve it! And, if you really think about it, getting more sleep really is taking time for yourself; not fun-time maybe, but time to take care of yourself, which is important.
I can certainly relate to your statement about staying up until 3 am, though. I often do that to complete writing assignments.
