This Quote’s For You

The lovely Katharine has tagged me for a favorite quotes meme. The point of this meme seems to be to share a favorite quote and then dedicate it to three others who in turn do the same.

If you know me personally, you probably know I’m a fan of Jack Kerouac (so much so that one of my pet rabbits is named after him). Thus, it’s probably not surprising that my favorite quote is one from Kerouac’s On The Road:

“The only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing.”

Ironically, most of the folks the quote reminds me of don’t have blogs. Luckily, a few do. I’m tagging: Dee, Mer and Mike.

What’s your favorite quote, literary or otherwise? I’m curious.

Amy you are welcomed to visit any time,and if you would leave a comment or two tha’s fine with me this way I can see if I’m not stepping on toes. I wish that common ties did nott change their format.I really enjoyed you two postings that you did.by the way how are the 3 bunnies doing????

No worries. My toes don’t get stepped on very easily. I have a habit of reading lots of blogs very quickly and not taking time to leave a comment. I am trying to get better about that. But I could spend all day leaving comments and following them, as I’m sure you know. You seem to visit a lot of blogs.
