Georgia Family Magazine
Seeks feature articles are on topics which relate directly to parenting issues. Pays $20 to $90 for first publication rights to feature stories and $10 to $30 for reprints.

Indy’s Child Parenting Magazine
Seeks articles from 800-1,500 words on topics pertaining to Indiana parents and family articles in general. Pays between $150-$300 for first publication rights to an article based on quality, length and content.

Mothering Magazine
Seeks articles on parenting-related topics with a limit of 2,000 words. Pays between $200 and $500 for magazine articles, the amount to be negotiated at the time of acceptance. Payment is made 90 days from publication date for one-time use of the article. In addition to payment, all authors receive a one-year complimentary subscription to Mothering and two copies of the issue in which their article is published.

Northwest Baby & Child
Seeks articles 250-750 words, although sometimes considers longer articles up to 1200 words. A 500-word article usually pays $40; shorter articles-$20, poetry and photos-$10 each. Payment is made after publication.

San Diego Family Magazine
Seeks articles between 750 to 1,200 words emphasizing the importance and pleasure of parenting. Pays $1.25 per column inch.

South Florida Parenting
Runs feature articles of 800-2,000 words on topics of pertinence to South Florida parents. Pays $150-$300 for first publication rights to articles, based on placement within the magazine, length and quality of writing. Pays $30-$50 for reprints.

Sydney’s Child
Seeks fine writing that will provoke, entertain and enlighten their readership of parents and others involved in the care of children aged 0-14. Feature length ranges from 800 words to 2,400 words; payment is negotiated on acceptance.

The Village Family Magazine
Seeks articles between 1500 - 2500 words. Pays $.07 per word for original material. Reprint fee is between $30 and $50, depending on length of article.

Twins Magazine
Feature stories are about 1,300 words including sidebars. Submissions for departments should be about 650 words. Growing Stages items should be about 200 to 250 words. Fees are negotiated prior to publication and payment is made upon publication.

What’s Up Kids? Family Magazine
What’s Up Kids Family Magazine is a national, Canadian magazine published 6 times per year and is the only Canadian magazine for both parents and kids. Word length and payment varies from article to article, and will be assigned by the editor. Payment will be made 30 days after publication.
