I’m writing this with a pencil.
The wind knocked out our electricity at 10:30pm. It’s after midnight now and I’m tired but not sleepy enough to sleep. Instead of counting sheep I have spent the past few hours trying to re-train my mind to think slower, so I can write the words down. I’m not certain whether my hand has gotten slower since email was invented or if my brain has sped up. Either way, I’m here with a candle and a pencil, feeling pretty Amish except that I keep checking Twitter and email from my iphone, and I’m pretty sure the Amish don’t do that.

I said I ditched the pantyhose, right? Well, I lied a little.
Once in a while, just to remind myself how much I suck at blending in with society (and to remind myself how much I love my pajamas), I travel to the big bad city to try to convince folks to hire me. Sometimes they even invite me willingly.
