Job Resources

If you’re looking for freelance writing jobs or blogging jobs online, the following job boards, websites and blogs may be of interest to you. There are a LOT of job boards and job-syndicating blogs out there, but these are the ones I like best. Enjoy.

FreelanceWritingGigs.com
Pulls freelance writing jobs and blogging jobs from multiple job boards and websites Monday-Friday. Great time-saver for job-seekers, and some great discussions there also.

Problogger.net Job Board
If you’re looking for blogging jobs, particularly network blogging jobs, you’ll want to hit this one.

Copyblogger.com Job Board
Relatively new, with some good choices ranging from blogging jobs to content writing jobs to copywriting jobs.

Indeed.com
When I’m looking for work, I’ll usually hit Indeed. The key to using this job search engine is to use the right keywords, like “blogger” or “freelance writer” (with the quotes, if your search term is more than one word). Otherwise you’ll get a lot of hits unrelated to what you really want.

Craigslist.org

Lots of writers frown on craigslist, primarily because the jobs are often low-paying, and you’ve got to go through a lot of non-paying gigs to get to those. I’ve gotten a few well-paying gigs from craigslist though, so I don’t scoff at it.

Elance.com
If you want to go the job-bidding route, Elance is the best (in my opinion). It’s also one of the most expensive.
